Days 4-12

Ok, so it has been awhile since I got on here, SORRY! Everyone else, feel free to post anytime. I just wanted to check in with everyone and see how you are doing, I know there were some of us (you know who you are :)) that were not journaling, please try and do that this week if at all possible. I think it has been a great help for me to start learning the scripture and remembering verses as well as actually applying what I am getting from the scripture. Also, I was just at a place called the giggle factory yesterday and they have once a month a "family night" they bring out a bounce house and it has a bk playland type structure inside for kids to play on and a toddler area and such, but VERY clean, not like BK at all, their next family night is on Friday the 7th of Nov. I thought this might be a fun family outing for anyone who would like to come. I think we will go, it is in Hudson, but not too much farther than our house, it is exit 2 into WI, and about 2 miles off the highway. Anyway, just a thought, it is a couple weeks away.

Day 3

Hi again! Here we go on Day 3, todays scripture is Proverbs 3:1-35. If anyone is having trouble keeping up, please let the group know, we are all here to help each other, so maybe we can help by sending the scripture to you, or emailing or calling or whatever you think will help you keep on track. I know we all lead busy lives so taking time everyday to do this excersize may be hard, but it is very important and will help us to set up a great routine for growing spiritually which is why I think we all joined a group.

Awaken- Day 2

Hi all,
I hope everyone read day one, we are now onto day 2. Please remeber to do all that is asked of us, read the scripture, write down some thoughts and write a prayer. I think it is a good idea for us all to journal through this, Will and I just grabbed some 3 ring notebooks to keep track in. Todays scripture is 2 Timothy 3: 1-17. Take some time today and read and write and if anyboday has any suggestions on our topic for Sunday, that would be great!

awaken- day 1

Ok group, here is our new blog, let me know what you think. We can all comment and post on here so it should be a good tool to use for the awaken series for our group. Did everyone read day one Eph. 6; 10-24. What were your thoughts? Love to hear from everyone!
